How many recessed lights do I need?

A common starting point is one light for every four to six feet of ceiling, adjusted for ceiling height and what the room is used for. We sketch a layout on site in California before cutting anything.

Can you add lights where there's no attic access?

Yes. Slim LED fixtures need very little clearance, and we fish cable between joists from small openings that the lights themselves cover.

Why do my LED lights flicker on the dimmer?

Usually the dimmer isn't rated for LED loads or is mismatched to the fixtures. Swapping to a compatible dimmer fixes it. See switch and dimmer installation.

Can you hang a heavy chandelier?

Yes. We install a rated support box or brace, assemble and hang the fixture, and can add a dimmer if you want one.
